Course Aim:

To provide participants with knowledge and skills to support and
maintain the VSAT equipment.

Course Duration:

3 Weeks.

Outcomes:

Participants will be able to support and maintain the VSAT equipment. 

Entry Requirements:

Engineering technicians should have a sound knowledge base in
telecommunication concepts, data communication concepts, networking and satellite communications concepts.

Language:

The course will be conducted in the English language.

Scope:

Introduction to Satellite Communication, Out-door Unit (ODU), SKYWAN IDU, Frame Relay, Datum Modem and SKYWAN FAD. 

Methodology:

The training methods employed will consist of classroom lectures and practical exercises.
