Course Aim:

To provide participants with knowledge, skills and attitude to support and maintain the Thales 970S Secondary Surveillance Radar equipment.

Course Duration:

3 Weeks.

Outcomes:

Participants will be able to support and maintain the Thales 970S Secondary Surveillance Radar equipment.

The course will be conducted in the English language.

Scope:

Describe the Thales 970S SSR principles of operation, Support and maintain the antenna system of a RSM 970S radar, Support and maintain the RSM970 drive system, Support and maintain and use the RCMS equipment, Operate and manage the IRIS Maintenance display system, Operate and manage the CBP system, Support and maintain the RSM970S TRC, Maintain and Operate the RSM970S TOM equipment and Support and maintain the SMS equipment.

Methodology:

The training methods employed will consist of virtual classroom lectures and practical exercises.
