2. How often do you run these programs?
There are three programs per year that commence in:
- Basic Course. Ab initio (Core Content).

You may apply for our Bursary programs at these times:

4. What documents are needed by ATNS for this application?
You must have the following documents:
- A copy of your SA Identity document.
Documents don’t need to be certified as they will be vetted anyways
5. How long does the Bursary program take?
The duration of the program is 1 year.
6. What happens after I complete the 1 year Bursary Program?
ATNS may offer the bursar an eighteen month fixed term contract during this time, the bursar receives a salary.
7. Where can I find the AIMO/ATSO/ ATCO/ Bursary application forms?
There are no application forms. Please apply online on ( https://atns.careerjunction.co.za/account/join?resetform=1 )
8. I am non-SA citizen. Can I apply?
Unfortunately the program is only for qualifying South African citizens for skills development purposes as per EE Act21 of 1994
9. Do you offer pilot / cabin crew courses?
Unfortunately at present ATNS does not offer Pilot/ cabin crew related training courses
10. Can current year Grade 12 scholars apply?
Yes, they may apply in 01 August to 30 September (for January program), using their Trial Examination results.
Acceptance into the program will be subject to meeting the requirements with their final Gr12 results

12. Can I pay for my own studies?
Whilst all courses are available at a cost, entrance onto ATC related courses are mainly adopted through our Bursary program recruitment
13. Are there any age restrictions?
Applicants between the ages of 18 and 33 are accepted.
14. What if I have 'O' level Grades, or a non-South African Matric qualification?
The onus rests on the learner to present proof that the qualification obtained has been endorsed by SAQA that it meets the ATNS program requirements.
15. What are the minimum requirements for the Bursary Program?
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18.
- Grade 12 with Maths and English (HG D or SG C or level 4 upwards).
- South African Citizen.
- Medically fit.
16. What if I have studied Maths Literacy and not Pure Maths, would I be considered for the Bursary Program?
Unfortunately the Bursary Program requires Pure Maths.
17. What if I passed with a level 3?
Unfortunately the Bursary Program requires a minimum of a level 4 pass; the onus will be on you to upgrade your marks.
18. What if I have studied Maths Literacy and not Pure Maths, would I be considered for the Bursary Program?
Unfortunately the Bursary Program requires Pure Maths.
